The math is a little hazy on this one, but Pink Starburst is a complex strain made from a DJ Short’s Blueberry x Headband x AJ Sour Diesel BX3 (whew!) triple-cross. All that work was worth it, however, as this is a potent hybrid known for a euphoric but clear-headed effect. The fragrance is a wonderful aroma of floral and earthy notes, which intensify in the smoke and bring forward an added sweet flavor, like the candy of its name.
16-20% average THC level appears modest, but this strain punches above its weight. The head effect is a blend of tranquility and glorious euphoria, but without any fogginess or intoxication. The high settles lightly into the body, but with enough of a numbing buzz to ease aches and pains. This is a good morning or daytime strain and is well-suited to help manage symptoms of stress, depression, minor pain, and fatigue.
